February is purple.

Good morning, February!
Any February babies out there? I'm one!
I did a little research about February, the weirdest month of all...
February means "purification" (Latin), but some other historical names for the month have been "mud-month" and "cabbage-month" (Anglo-Saxon), and "month of the pearl" (Finnish) because when melting snow re-freezes on tree branches, it looks like tiny pearls! (Read more here)

And of course, everyone knows the February birthstone is amethyst. But did you know the ancient Greeks believed amethyst could prevent intoxication??
