A major improvement?

Yeah, I think so.

I found these amazing vintage curtains a few weeks ago...they were $3.50 for two pairs (4 curtains total) - they were sold "as is" because they were missing the metal hook-thingies that you use to attach them to a rod. Well, no problem - I nailed them to the wall to cover up the hideous styrofoam 'wall' in my room.

Much better!

Now I just need to get motivated to paint all of the other walls white...
