Back in business!

Woo hoo, I sold something in the shop!

Slow, and steady seems to be my little shop's mantra. It sees its highs, and it sees its lows. I guess that's the way it goes in the beginning. I'm not complaining, no! I'm very grateful for all of the people who've shown me support since I opened up shop in February of this year! Actually I was quite surprised that I even sold as much as I did, to start out. So please don't think I'm complaining when I say my shop hasn't seen any business in a while.... I'm thankful that it sees business at all! :)

Anyway, since my shop has seen a wee bit of business in the past few weeks, I'm on the prowl for some new pretties. I have been desperately seeking a beautiful brooch to wear with some of my favorite outfits.... I always feel like my outfit just isn't quite complete, and that the perfect topper would be a special little pin to decorate me. (On a side note, but still related - I would swear that I have a memory of seeing a picture of Marjorie wearing a little cameo brooch with one of her lovely little paintings on it..... and I have searched her blog high and low and can't seem to find said picture. Did I dream that? If I did, it was a moment of genius and Marjorie should definitely look into making some of her paintings into little cameo brooches.... I would buy them up! If I didn't dream it.... where on Earth did I see that picture? And where, oh where, can I get one of those brooches??? *hint hint hint, Marjorie!*). Today, I did come across this sweet little number...

Its a brooch by Thymbyl Designs, and I am about this close to scooping it up... its all the way from Germany, too. Don't you just love things that are made in far away lands? They seem so much more magical.

In other news, one of my favorite Etsy shops, Milly Molly Mandy, has jumped ship over to a new little shop called Belle and Boo. Same artist, same artwork, new name. She also just started a blog, which I love already. Stop by and check her out!
